Yellow-Pink Ombre Cotton Kota Doria Saree | Saanjh

An ombre shades from yellow to pink across an all-over floral-vine Kota Doria cotton.

Why this piece

•
Light and semi-sheer — the open cotton weave stays cool and near-weightless; wear it over a petticoat with a fitted blouse for full cover.

•
Two colours, one drape — the body shades in an ombre from yellow to pink, under an all-over floral-vine jaal.

•
Morning to night — celebration-ready and easy to wear from morning to night.

The pattern

A floral and vine jaal is worked all over the body, which shades in an ombre from yellow to pink, with a narrow metallic strip at the edges. Two colours in one drape, held together by the gold line.

The fabric

Kota Doria is a cotton khat weave of tiny square checks you can see against the light. It is semi-sheer by nature, which keeps it light for a full festive day.

Is this Kota Doria all cotton?
Yes — cotton in the open khat (square-check) weave. That open weave is what keeps this piece light, semi-sheer and breathable.

Is it one colour or many?
It shades in an ombre from yellow to pink across the drape, under an all-over floral-vine jaal — one piece, two colours.

How sheer is it, and how should I pair it?
It is semi-sheer, as cotton Kota Doria is. Wear it over a petticoat with a fitted blouse; a nude or skin-tone petticoat sits well under the gradient.

Does it come with a blouse piece, and how do I wash it?
Yes, an unstitched blouse piece is included. Handwash gently in cold water and dry in shade; the embroidery holds best with gentle care.
