Peach Cotton Kota Doria Saree, Bordered Floral | Gulbadan

A floral border runs one edge of a soft peach Kota Doria cotton, florals scattered across the body.

Why this piece

•
Light and semi-sheer — the open cotton weave stays cool and near-weightless; wear it over a petticoat with a fitted blouse for full cover.

•
Border plus scatter — a linear floral runs one edge while individual florals disperse across the peach body.

•
Dressed-up, not heavy — soft peach touched with blue and olive, easy for day celebrations.

The pattern

A linear floral border runs along one edge of the soft peach body, with individual florals dispersed across the field and quiet notes of muted blue and olive green. It reads a little more dressed than an everyday piece.

The fabric

Kota Doria is a cotton khat weave of tiny square checks you can see against the light. It is semi-sheer by nature, which keeps it cool for summer and daytime gatherings.

Is this Kota Doria all cotton?
Yes — cotton in the open khat (square-check) weave. That open weave is what keeps this peach piece light, semi-sheer and breathable.

What colour is it?
A soft peach, with the florals picked out in muted blue and olive green along the border and across the body.

How sheer is it, and how should I pair it?
It is semi-sheer, as cotton Kota Doria is. Wear it over a petticoat with a fitted blouse; a peach or skin-tone petticoat keeps the ground even.

Does it come with a blouse piece, and how do I wash it?
Yes, an unstitched blouse piece is included. Handwash gently in cold water and dry in shade; the embroidery holds best with gentle care.
