Handblock printing is one of the traditional techniques of printing with natural color followed by the chippas of a remote place of Rajasthan. The process starts from preparing the cloth to finished printed fabrics through their indigenous methods.
Linen is a natural textile fiber derived from the flax plant (Linum usitatissimum). It's one of the oldest known fibers used by humans for clothing, bedding, and various other purposes.

As you can see, the saree is very pink and not maroon as shown below n the catalogue. That said, it is still a very pretty saree, I got many pleats, easy to drape. I received many compliments.
