How is the dupatta different from the top?
The top carries a small, dense ivory sprig repeat, while the dupatta uses a much larger drawing - wide vertical bands of scrollwork and circular motifs along its edge - so the two read as a designed pair rather than the same print twice.
Can it be stitched for a plus size?
Yes. Each piece is 2.5 metres long, with the top and bottom 44-45 inches wide, enough for a straight kurta set up to 4XL, and the length can be customised for a longer silhouette.
Will the ivory dull or the navy bleed after washing?
No. The fabric is colour-fast and does not bleed on the first wash. Dry clean it the first time, then a gentle cold hand wash, dried in shade.
Does a dark colour like this need a lining?
No. The silk is opaque on its own, so no lining or aster is needed. One can be added if you prefer a heavier drape.
What if the shade is not what I expected?
Screens vary, so a shade can look a little different in person. If the colour or the quality is not what you hoped for, you can exchange it.
