Does the print have a direction I should tell my tailor about?
Yes. The tulip motifs stand upright, so the top should be cut with the print running the right way up. Mention it before cutting and any tailor will lay the fabric accordingly.
Will the teal and gold bleed into the red?
No. The fabric is colour-fast and does not bleed on the first wash. Dry clean it the first time, then wash gently in cold water.
How is the dupatta patterned?
It keeps a broad plain red panel at the centre and surrounds it with an intricate floral border on all sides, so it works as a finished piece on its own rather than repeating the top exactly.
Can this be stitched to a larger size?
Yes. With 2.5 metres in each piece and a 44-45 inch width on the top and bottom, a straight kurta set can be stitched up to 4XL, with the length customised.
What if the shade is not what I expected?
Screens vary, so a shade can look a little different in person. If the colour or the quality is not what you hoped for, you can exchange it.
